Automatic door opener

The automatic door opener is the first of its kind for use where there is limited head space, and can automatically open and close most domestic doors, simply with one press of a button on a remote. The hand held remote operates both solid and hollow doors, giving extra support to less capable individuals.

The device is both easy to use and durable, and is most commonly used within sheltered housing and nursing homes. During power failure, the door can still be opened or closed manually. An obstacle detection feature is built-in to ensure that any obstacles in the path of an opening or closing door can be detected. Additionally, an electromagnetic lock can be installed for security and privacy purposes.
